Client Access Licenses

A Client Access License (CAL) is required for each user or device that accesses the server software. You’ll need user or device CALs for each user or device that accesses the server software. This purchase includes 1 Device CAL.

An Exchange Server Client Access License (CAL) is required for each user or device that accesses the server software. Please purchase the appropriate number of user and device CALs for each user or device that accesses the server.

Host either sessions-based desktop, pooled virtual machines, or personal virtual machines. This External Connector permits multiple external users to access a single Remote Desktop server. If you have multiple servers, you need multiple external connectors in addition to any required Windows Server External Connectors.

For Business that have external users (Contractors, Consultants) accessing Rights Management Services and would prefer to license the whole server for external access rather than purchase individual CALs for external Users.
