General Return Requirements and Guidelines

Any qualified returns have 10 days for the return request to be initiated. If approved and an RMA is issued it must be in transit by the 21st day from the date the product is delivered

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and include all contents and accessories that are included by default.. This is applicable for all physical items Open items may only be returned if they are defective or if they are an incorrect item than what you ordered.

You have 10 days starting from the date the item is shown as delivered to initiate your return request. A return request is not an approval to return and it is important that you wait for us to follow up before proceeding any further in the process. A request will typically receive an approval or denial within 48 hours.

If your request is approved, you will receive specific instructions on how to handle the return of the item in regard to shipping. It is imperative to note that if you do receive approval to return your item you have until the 21st day from the date of delivery for it to be in transit and in possession of the carrier service.

If you do not ship it prior to the 21st day, the approval will be considered void and the return will no longer be valid. Any items that are returned after the 21st day will be considered abandoned property and will not necessarily be returned or the responsibility of Digital Repo.

If you miss any deadlines in regard to the return policy you may submit a request which will be considered based on the circumstance and the situation at hand. In some cases we may make exceptions, but this is not a recommended method to plan to utilize if you need to return your item.

Computer Components, Media, Cables,

Smaller items such as computer components (memory, solid state drives, etc) or items such as network cables or cords for display can typically be returned if the packaging has been opened. In some cases there may be a 15% restocking fee if the item is a unique or special component that is not typically purchased.

CPU and GPU’s are excluded from this section and are considered Specialty Devices.

Example: A special connection cord to connect to a GPU server. (This would likely have a restock fee applied).

Example: An HDMI cord. (This would likely not have a restock fee applied).

Software

Software sales are final with very few exceptions.

Physical Software items which include box packs, key cards and any media are not returnable. Once it is shipped the order is finalized. Cancelation may be possible if your request is received prior to the item going out.

Digital Delivery items that are available for home use or downloads that are not part of a business or commercial manufacturer agreement or volume licensing is not returnable. No exceptions.

Software that is purchased to create or modify a business or enterprise volume license agreement is governed by the terms or requirements set out by the manufacturer in regards to whether returns are possible. Purchases made online of this type may be able to be canceled if you request it prior to the initiation of the quote or interaction with the vendor.

Items on Sale or Marked with Special Attributes/Notices

Items that are on sale may or may not be marked for final sale. Typically items that are on clearance or a sale that is >25% off of the original price will likely be grouped and considered to be final sale meaning returns are not allowed.

Some items may have a specification which will be displayed on the product page that may specify special conditions in relation to whether returns are allowed for the item or not. It is important to note that purchase of an item marked with special return restrictions will be enforced if it is present at the time of purchase.

(It is always important to check for special attributes in regards to handling or condition when making purchases).

Systems, Electronics, Digital/Video Cameras and other Specialty Devices

In most cases these items are returnable within the general window. The reasoning must fall under valid reasons in your return request and the item and packaging needs to be essentially able to be considered new or “open-box” upon return. If packaging is carelessly ripped or damaged this could cause a fee to be applied or even disqualify their return eligibility for certain products such as Computers and Networking Devices.

All included default accessories must also be in the box as well. If any cables or components are missing the return will not be considered valid.

Special Handling:

Video Cameras: Video camera’s may have special handling in most cases.

CPU/GPU’s: These must be unused, unopened. The box must still be fully sealed. Anything that does not function on arrival will be accepted as return.

Servers: In many cases manufacturers may have specific terms and conditions that apply in this section. Servers will be accepted when dead on arrival.

RMA Process

If you have read the General Return Guidelines and your purchase qualifies for a return request, you can submit a RMA request here.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Return Shipping Service:

Digital Repo will only cover cost of returns for orders that we are considered at fault for. If your return is approved you must make arrangements to ship the item back to us at your expense. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We have no way to guarantee that we will receive your returned item and these types of services can insure you have security if something happens with your shipping courier.

In some cases by request we can assist with setting up the shipping service if you are unable to make arrangements independently. This means we will provide the shipping label for you (the cost will be withheld from your refund). This must be requested if needed, it will not be provided by default.

We will not cover return cost for the following:

Accidental or Unauthorized Purchases
No longer need/want
Wrong Size/Incompatible
Delivered to wrong address (unless we send to the incorrect location)
Wrong item purchased
Most “Other” cases with few exceptions.

Exchanges

In the event you happen to receive a defective product on its arrival you may opt to receive a replacement. Items that qualify for exchange will qualify to have return shipping covered for the item being returned.

When you receive your new item, a return label will be included for the defective product. Simply affix the label over the original and schedule it to be picked up or drop it off at the shipping service location.
